David Bolzoni was born in Villa Carlos Paz, in Córdoba, Argentina. He began his musical studies in his adolescence and his relationship with the guitar and composition grew with the years. Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knopfler, Alan Parsons and The Beatles were his first musical referents, among others. He started playing in his home town and the cities around, in bars, pubs, and different places in Cordoba, until he reached other provinces. He played with different musical bands during the time of the summer festivals in Cordoba, interpreting different musical styles. He started having fans through the years. One day, he decided to quit his College Law studies in the University of Cordoba and he entirely devoted himself to music. Alter he separated from his last rock band, David decided to form a duo with Germán Gelpi which they called AQM ( in Spanish “Al Que Madruga”). They started performing in Buenos Aires until they finally record the single "Resistiré", the theme song for the homonymous Prime-time soapopera of Telefe Channel in Argentina. The version was an absolute hit in all the radio stations of the country, and they started a tour performing in all places around Argentina. After a great number of shows, the duo decided to stop playing together and David moved to Buenos Aires to start his career as a soloist. In the midst of his shows, he signed a contract with Channel 9 to participate in a teenager soapopera: “Paraiso Rock” as “Pablo” a musician. Then, he started recording his first album with the producer Eduardo Frigerio and Federico San Millán, with songs of his own composition, participating on the general edition and musical arrangements of the album. The final product was a solid album, very detailed in his creation, in which the fusion between pop, balad and rock resulted in an original production of international level. He launched his album at the renowned Opera Theatre in Capital Federal in Buenos Aires, in November of 2006. Simultaneously, Telefé Channel summoned him again, and in this occasion, for a version of "Yo soy aquel", by Manuel Alejandro. He put music to the new soapopera of the channel titled "Montecristo". The result of it was a highly powerful and different version from the original one, which mingled rock and pop with retro sounds. Its recognition by the audiences was explosive, and it became an amazing success around the country. After the recognition of “Yo soy aquél”, "Hazme", was the new balad of his own composition, with which the audience started to feel identified with the singer´s own style. These reached to the top of the radio stations rankings all over Argentina, as well as other Latin American countries. After the success of his first album, David started a new promotional tour around different countries of the continent obtaining the “Gold Album” Award in Mexico, Chile y “Platinium Album” in Argentina. When he returned, he started all over again performing on different stages around the country giving dozens of shows in only a few months. He had three “Toing” nominations, the most important ringtones company in his country, and he was awarded once again for the ringtones and mp3 most downloaded songs for “Yo soy aquél” y “Hazme” in 2006. In 2007 he was summoned again by Telefé Channel to be the leading voice of the two soundtracks of the fiction series “El Capo”. He obtained four nominations for the “Gardel a la música Argentina” Awards, for his first album “David Bolzoni”: “Best Male Artist Pop Album”; “Best New Artist Pop Album”; “Best Production of the Year” and “Best Song of the year” for “Hazme”. He was the winner of “Best New Artist Pop Album of the Year” Award. At the same time, Much Music rewarded him for the video clip “Yo soy aquél” as the Best Latin video clip of the year. Finally, in 2006, the duet “Anjos”, from Portugal ask David for the rights of his first album David Bolzoni, to make a Portuguese version for his country. The album obtained the ”Double Platinium Award” that year.
In November of 2007 David Bolzoni present his second album production titled: “Estigmas de amor”. And the history goes on…
